PA/DE Adopter and Volunteer Picnic!On Sept 27, 2008, we held our first PA/DEAdopter and volunteer Picnic at Quakertown memorial Park in PA. The weather was drizzly and overcast but the company was great! We had danes of all colors and ages come to meet and socialize. We had a late start due to the weather but everyone chipped in to set up--Marcy and Fran were especially helpful! The grills that were suppsoed to be stationed at the picnic grounds had disappeared but Shari Reich saved the day by scouring her neighborhood for a portable grill. And everyone had a great time, weather aside! We made $116 in merchandise sales and donations.
