PA/DE Adopter and Volunteer Picnic!August 29 would have been dreary day but for the PA/DE picnic! The rain held off as volunteers and adopters gathered with our danes to chat and visit and admire the danes who brought us all together. We had merles and blacks and fawns and harles, big and tall and small and dainty, young and old and male and female. And their people showed them off and told their stories to thers who were just as interested to hear them. Marcy and Bob Voegel opened their home for the event and rolled out the red carpet. We had lots of food and beverages, yummy desserts, and lots of room to visit. There were even games and prizes! Many thanks to Marcy and Volunteer Team Lead Kim Von Weltin for planning and pulling off a great picnic!
