Sammy is a 5-year-old brindle piebald female Great Dane with natural ears. Sammy came into rescue due to the male dog in her home being too aggressive. Sammy is doing very well in her foster home, and starting to show her a sense of humor. She is sweet and loves humans. She eats 2 cups of dry dog food with a tiny bit of milk twice a day. She LOVES her walks! Sammy plays a little with her foster brother, but is still shy about it and he respects her need for calm and space. She loves to play with fluffy toys and chew bones, and prances proudly with them. She enjoys the back yard, chasing squirrels with her foster brother. She loves to cuddle. She enjoys visitors and being the center of attention.
She will do well with a family, with or without dog(s), who respect her space when she needs it. She is doing well with training. She is good with other dogs and children and is unknown with cats.
